Spring

Flowers and rain showers

New baby birds

All around the country, their songs are heard.

Leaves grow; flowers sprout

Smiles on faces, winter says "Peace Out".

This is the end of winter's blahs

Spring is here- hurrah! hurrah!

Easter

Bright yellow, pink and purple peeps

Delivered by the bunny while we sleep.

Eggs are hidden for children's delight

making sure they're out of sight.

One by one they pick them up,

As smiles on the children's faces erupt.

The winner is declared when all is done,

The day is over having had loads of fun.
