Citizenship was the theme of today’s Character Education Assembly, featuring a fantastic performance by Mrs. Dominy-White's 4th Grade class! The highlight of the morning was the official unveiling of our brand-new mascot, Ramsey.

The students were absolutely thrilled to finally meet him! Check out the attached video to see the high-energy moment Ramsey made his grand debut to the school.

• Student Voice: Ramsey was chosen through a school-wide election held by Mrs. McNamara on December 16th.
• School Store Success: The mascot was purchased using funds earned through the Van Rensselaer School Store.
• PTA Support: A huge thank you to the Van Rensselaer PTA for providing the initial funds to get our school store off the ground!
