I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with 25 years of experience supporting students in grades 7–12 at the Rensselaer City School District. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from The College of Saint Rose and my Master of Social Work from the University at Albany.
My work focuses on supporting students’ social, emotional, and academic success through special education services, IEP counseling, and tier 2 and 3 counseling interventions for general education students. I also serve as the district’s McKinney-Vento Homeless Liaison, helping connect students and families with essential resources.
I am passionate about supporting the whole child and strengthening our school community. Through the district’s backpack program and monthly food pantry, in partnership with the Regional Food Bank, I work to help ensure students and families have access to the resources they need to succeed.
