Rensselaer Jr./Sr. High School’s Esports Club wrapped up its fall season as a member of the Empire State Scholastic Esports Federation, highlighted by the recent Fall 2025 Esports Championship held at Syracuse University. Throughout the season, students competed against schools from across New York state, gaining experience in teamwork, strategy and sportsmanship through organized interscholastic play. In October, the Rensselaer City School District hosted the Rensselaer Gaming Rampage, welcoming teams from Glens Falls and Bethlehem for a day of competitive gaming.

While Rensselaer did not advance to the Fall 2025 championships, the club is already preparing for the upcoming Spring 2026 Esports season. The program continues to provide students with opportunities to build skills in communication, problem-solving and digital citizenship while representing their school in a growing statewide activity.
